Position Overview

To oversee theday-to-day production activities at the modular furniture manufacturing unit,ensuring efficient operations, quality output, timely deliveries, and adherenceto safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

‍

1. Production Management

·        Supervisedaily production schedules and shop floor activities.

·        Allocatetasks to production workers and ensure output targets are met.

·        Coordinatewith the cutting, edge-banding, pressing, assembly, and packing sections.

2. Quality Control

·        Monitorproduction quality at each stage.

·        Ensurefinished goods meet internal QC and client standards.

·        Workclosely with the Quality Control team to resolve defects or reworks.

3. Workforce Supervision

·        Manage ateam of operators, helpers, and machine workers.

·        Maintaindiscipline, punctuality, and safety among team members.

·        Guide andtrain staff on process improvements and machine operations.

4. Coordination

·        Liaisewith the design, planning, dispatch, and project teams for order-specificrequirements.

·        Ensurematerial availability in coordination with the Purchase Department.

5. Reporting & Documentation

·        Maintaindaily production reports, attendance, and material usage.

·        Escalateproduction delays or breakdowns to higher management.

·        Participatein internal review meetings with management and operations team.

6. Maintenance & Safety

·        Ensure allequipment and tools are maintained properly.

·        Enforceadherence to safety protocols on the shop floor.

·        Reportmachinery issues to the Maintenance team promptly.

Educational Qualification

·        Diploma /ITI in Mechanical / Wood Technology / Production Engineering or related field

‍

Experience:

·        3 to 4years of experience in modular furniture or wood-based manufacturing industry

·        Prior experience in team handling is mandatory
